Refinery Automation Institute provides: breakfast, lunch, mid-morning and mid-afternoon coffee break.
*The RAI blend optimizer works only on MS windows-based laptops, and it requires Microsoft Excel to be installed with the solver active.
Ara has 50+ years of experience in gasoline, diesel and bunker blending. He started with Exxon Research & Engineering, then started his own company with number of Exxon colleagues, designing and implementing numerous blending projects, and finally being acquired by ABB. Currently, he is the founder of RAI, a fuel oil blending consulting company.
The materials in these modules have been provided by Ara Barsamian and are based on personal knowledge and experience. Some data and materials have been contributed over the years by other experts of Refinery Automation Institute. All modules have been peer-reviewed by working members of US and foreign refineries, gasoline traders, oil terminal operators, pipeline company staff, and Laboratory personnel. The author acknowledges the contributions of all RAI staff and consultants, past and present. All information contained is given in good faith and is intended to improve the understanding of the topics by all sectors of the industry.
At the end of the 7 days period, the participants that have successfully completed the RAI Online Gasoline Training Course module(s) will receive the RAI Certificate of Attendance.
