About the Instructor

Ara has 50+ years of experience in gasoline, diesel, and bunker blending. He started with Exxon Research & Engineering, then started his own company with number of Exxon colleagues, designing and implementing numerous blending projects, and finally being acquired by ABB. Currently, he is the founder of RAI, a fuel oil blending consulting company.

Some data and materials have been contributed over the years by other experts of Refinery Automation Institute. All modules have been peer-reviewed by working members of US and foreign refineries, gasoline traders, oil terminal operators, pipeline company staff, and Laboratory personnel.
